The expectation is that the research papers will not constitute unique research worthy of publication, but will be an expository writing reflecting in depth reading of a narrowed subject matter. The paper will include in its bibliography three sources which are not the assigned class texts. Short one page internet articles are not a “source,” though properly attributed multi-page studies from the internet might be. At least two sources must be from sources other than the internet. A bibliography will be at the end. Quotes and sources must be attributed in the body of the paper. The title page and bibliography are not counted as a page of text.
