You will turn one reading reaction every week. Generally reading reactions will be 2-3 page open-ended reactions to the assigned reading. Some weeks I may give a specific ad to analyze in the context of the reading. While there is no set format for these reactions, the strongest reaction papers are those that demonstrate an understanding of the texts as well as ability to draw connections between readings, theories, personal experiences, and current events, etc. Reactions should NOT solely be a summary of the texts to which you are responding, nor should they be a diary of your experience with advertising. Think of the reaction paper as a conversation with the texts and/or the author(s) of the texts.
