Newer Bill is going through a lot in his life. His son is very ill, and due to their large medical bills, Bill has not been able to keep up with his mortgage payments. He is worried about his son’s health, and he is worried about losing his house. Bill comes to work every day, but he is distracted and does not remember to complete even basic tasks. His coworkers complain that he does not “pull his weight.” Imagine you are Bill’s supervisor. Discuss the following: How would you explain Bill’s behavior using Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
