In this assignment, you will identify and describe the type of writer you are. In regards to the writing process, you will aim to detail any strengths (i.e. the skills and abilities within your inventory) and weaknesses that you may have. What skills and abilities are you hoping to “score” or develop through this class and college? What are the most important traits to have as a writer? Beyond identifying and describing yourself as a writer, you will justify and explain your responses. Essentially, you will be answering the question of what kind of writer you deem yourself to be at this time and how you hope to “level up” through this class and college in general.
In no fewer than 1,000 words, you will create a coherent essay in which you (i) describe yourself as a writer, (ii) provide specific evidence that connects to and supports your descriptions, and (iii) specify how you foresee yourself progressing as a writer.
